We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food production, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This role requires a hands-on approach to cooking and food preparation, along with the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Requirements
Proven experience in a Head Chef or similar leadership role within a restaurant setting.
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high morale.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding dining experiences.
