Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a proven track record in food production and team management. Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Develop and implement seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food quality and safety. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary. Foster a positive team culture that encourages professional development and teamwork.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, food safety standards, and culinary practices. Demonstrated ability to create innovative dishes while managing costs effectively. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly desirable. A strong understanding of menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and seasonal cooking is essential.
