We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and production, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to food safety standards. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, team management, and ensuring the highest quality of dishes served in our restaurant.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, ensuring efficient food production and service. Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure seamless operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction. Help resolve any issues that arise within the kitchen or during service.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. A passion for food and creativity in menu design. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and customer demands.
