We're launching a brand-new cocktail bar in the heart of Midsomer Norton -- and we're looking for a talented and passionate Head Chef to help us create an exciting food menu of small plates to compliment our drinks offering.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop a menu of high-quality small plates that pair well with cocktails
Cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard
Collaborate with owners on seasonal specials and menu changes
Manage kitchen setup, stock levels, and food ordering
Uphold all food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
Work efficiently in a compact kitchen environment
Help build and train the kitchen team as the business grows
About You:
Proven experience as a chef (ideally with small plates, tapas, or modern cuisine)
Passion for food, creativity, and presentation
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety (Level 2/3 preferred)
Reliable, self-motivated, and organised
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
Available to work evenings and weekends
A team player with a positive attitude
