Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the leader of the kitchen, you will be responsible for food production, and ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards. Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that meets food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections and implement improvements as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety, health, and labor laws.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with menu planning, food production, and inventory management.
- Certification in food safety or a related field.
- Experience in hospitality and customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and holidays.
