We're looking for a

talented Head Chef

to lead our kitchen team at The Lemon tree, a busy cafe known for its warm atmosphere, exceptional food, and great coffee.

As Head Chef, you'll be at the heart of our cafe, designing seasonal menus, managing day-to-day kitchen operations, and inspiring the team to deliver consistently high-quality food.

What You'll Do

Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver outstanding dishes. Create exciting, seasonal menus with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. Manage stock, orders, and cost control to achieve budget targets. Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff. Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food hygiene regulations.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a similar environment. Strong leadership and organisational skills. A passion for fresh, wholesome food and an eye for detail. Knowledge of current food trends and cafe-style cuisine. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Food hygiene and safety certification (Level 2 or above).
