We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food production, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. As Head Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Implement and uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards in the kitchen. Develop new menu items, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. Previous experience in menu planning and food production is highly desirable. A background in hospitality will be advantageous, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
