Duties
Oversee all aspects of food production and preparation in the kitchen.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance.
Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor food presentation and quality, ensuring dishes meet the restaurant's standards.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising kitchen operations and managing a team.
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Previous experience in a restaurant environment is highly desirable.
Exceptional culinary skills with an eye for detail in presentation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
