Duties

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective team collaboration and communication. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards before serving.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are highly desirable. Previous experience in menu development and cost control is advantageous. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
