The Role



As Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, developing innovative menus, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This is a fantastic opportunity to put your own stamp on a brand new venture.

High volume - Quality led experience required



Key Responsibilities



Lead and inspire a talented kitchen brigade, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. Develop seasonal, ingredient-led menus that reflect the pub's identity and commitment to quality. Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, supplier relationships, and cost management. Uphold strict food hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Foster a positive and professional kitchen environment, mentoring and developing the team. Work closely with front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless dining experience. Stay ahead of culinary trends to keep the menu fresh, exciting, and competitive.

What We're Looking For



Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end gastro pub or casual dining environment. A genuine passion for quality food and a strong understanding of seasonal British/Irish ingredients. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing brigade. Strong financial acumen, with experience managing kitchen budgets, food costs, and GP margins. A hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.
