Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Handle any issues or complaints that arise in the kitchen promptly and professionally.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
