We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure efficient and smooth operations
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
Oversee food production, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
Manage food safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations and best practices
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels
Train and mentor staff on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service and dining experience
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment at all times
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation across all kitchen activities
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen setting
Good hands- on the preparation of menu is Piri Piri - Meri Go, Pepes & Rio's etc
Develop and refine Piri Piri recipes, sauces, marinades, and menus. B
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality environments
Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality establishments
Excellent cooking skills with a creative approach to menu development
Knowledge of food service operations, including serving standards and customer interaction
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times
