Duties



Lead the development and execution of innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences, emphasizing quality and presentation. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and service to ensure consistency and excellence. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Oversee food safety standards by implementing proper handling procedures and maintaining compliance with health regulations. Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring smooth execution from setup to service delivery. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement and professional growth. Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, conduct training sessions, and ensure adherence to operational policies. Collaborate with front-of-house management to deliver seamless food service experiences for guests.

Requirements



Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments. Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting. Knowledge of banquet operations, catering services, and dietary department standards. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively. Strong understanding of inventory management, food production processes, and kitchen management systems. Experience in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and food safety protocols. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including serving etiquette, bartending skills, and customer service excellence.
