Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food preparation, and a commitment to food safety standards. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring that our restaurant maintains the highest quality in food and service.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to our clientele's preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene within the kitchen at all times. Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to minimise waste. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and presented beautifully for guests. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in supervising a team. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Creative flair for menu design and presentation. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

Every weekend Monday to Friday
