Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high standards of food quality and safety. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times. Foster a positive team environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.

Experience

Proven experience in a culinary leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
