Overview:

We are currently seeking a Head Cleaner to join our team for the 2026 season. You would take the lead of organising and planning our changeovers, facilities cleaning, as well as being hands on with carrying out cleans yourself. With a small team of 2 additonal cleaners in the low season and and additonal 2 cleaners during the main July/August months.

This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing an excellent standard of cleaning services. In additon, the ability to work well on your own and as part of a team is important.

We are nearing the completion of our brand new Cove Lodges accomodation installation, as well as a refurbishment of our toilet block facilties - ensuring that all aspects of our offering are FIVE Star.

The hours will vary throughout the season, but as the head cleaner you will be working from February throughout to early November. All cleaning materials provided.

The main working days will Monday, Friday, Saturday (changeovers days) in the low season and 1 other day in the week to be agreed from May - September (High Season).

Low Season will be approx 25 hours per week and High Season, approx 32.

Pay can be weekly, or we can consider processing your work as annualised hours, which would allow you to have a fixed monthly income whilst working at Silver Sands. A performance based year end bonus is also available.

This is a new role to the business and has the potential to grow with the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

- Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the park standards

- Planning ahead of time for changeovers

- Ordering linen from our linen supplier twice a week to ensure future stocks are correct for changeovers.

- Communicating with other cleaners and organsing the additional team when they are required.

- Cleaning our homes to a high standard and ensuring other cleaning team are working to the same high standard
- Ensuring our brand new camping toilet facilties are cleaned to a high standard on your 3 / 4 days working on park.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Adhering to health and safety regulations

Skills:

- Communicate effectively
- High standards of cleanliness and cleaning ability
- Ability to work alone and as part of a small team

An ability to drive and a means of transport will be needed due to our location.
