Kitchen Porter
Job Description
Pettycur Bay Holiday Park is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team. The successful candidate would be working 5 days out of 7. They will be responsible for a number of kitchen duties including maintaining kitchen hygiene by cleaning of all areas within 3 kitchens. The ideal candidate for this position has experience handling a busy work environment, takes pride in his or her work.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
-Varied shift pattern including evenings and weekends. 5 days from 7.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour
