Offering classic and seasonal cocktails, craft beers, and a carefully curated wine list: Lost Society is famous for its bold contemporary venue design, bottomless brunches, live music, weekend DJs and engaging customer service.

We are currently looking for an enterprising head bartender to join our team.

The candidate:

The ideal candidate will have proven track record as head bartender, preferably with experience in high volume cocktail environment, and holding a personal license.

Working with the management team, the head bartender will be responsible for the performance, profitability and general success of the bar.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in the London bar scene; and have an entrepreneurial approach, always looking for ways to innovate to drive wet sales and generate positive guest feedback.

You will be passionate about great customer service experiences and be confident to lead by example; you will enjoy going the extra mile to make our guests happy, and to train others to do the same.

The role:

Leading from the front, ensuring high standards of service and presentation are met by your team for each guest visit Maintaining high standards on the bar at all times, including: drink presentation, prep, cleaning, record keeping Weekly ordering and monthly stock reports Comprehensive cellar management Menu writing and design, inc. 3-6 monthly seasonal cocktail menus Supporting with bar staff recruitment, development, and training Ensuring general H&S documentation is in place and standards are met inc. fire safety, first aid, COSHH, allergy awareness etc Updating and maintaining the venue's EPOS system Helping to generate, and present, weekly reports; working to help achieve quarterly GP, sales, and wastage targets. Collaborating with our suppliers and brand partners in order to achieve retro targets and venue visibility via activation menus and socials collaborations
