Head Dance Coach

Superstars is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Dance Coach to help children develop their dance skills in a fun and engaging environment. Additionally, as a head coach you will be required to take on more responsibility including overseeing other coaches working alongside you to deliver a positive and harmonious dance session.

Job Type:

DBS Enhanced required., updated of 3 years. If you do not have a current valid DBS certificate, one can be arranged for you but please note a fee of 50 will be taken out of your wage. After 10 days of working for Superstars, you will be refunded this payment.

Job Role & Responsibilities:

As a

Head

Dance Coach

, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring children, helping them enhance their dancing abilities while ensuring a supportive and enjoyable experience. You will deliver structured sessions focusing on skill development and engagement in dance related games.

You will be required to:

Deliver carefully choreographed dance routines using current music the children will know and enjoy. Teach a variety of dance styles such as: Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Street.*
Teach and supervise various dance games used throughout the session to keep all children engaged. Adapt coaching methods to suit children's skill levels and learning styles. Motivate and encourage children to build confidence and improve their skills. Communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring children understand techniques. Address challenges and provide solutions to help children progress in their development.

Job Requirements:

? Comfortable and competent working with children.
? Prior experience working with children is beneficial but not a requirement.
? Enthusiastic, patient, and willing to engage in hands-on activities.
? Ability to explain dancing techniques clearly and effectively.
? A driving license is advantageous but not required.

Wages:

Wages will be age dependent:

- 16-18 year olds: 60 per day

- 18-21 year olds: 80 per day

- 22+: 100 per day

Availability for this job role:

21st July - 1st August, 2025
Please note shifts will be 07:45am-16:30pm, occasionally you may be required to stay till 18:00pm for late pick up. You will receive an additional 17 for late pick up shifts.
