We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated
Head Dental Nurse
to join our team in Rugby. This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis and offers a fantastic opportunity for a confident dental nurse looking to step into a leadership position while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
As Head Dental Nurse, you will oversee the nursing team, support the clinical staff, and ensure the highest standards of patient care, compliance, and professionalism are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and support the dental nursing team
Ensure excellent standards of patient care, safety, and infection control
Oversee day-to-day clinical and nursing operations
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
Ensure compliance with GDC standards, CQC requirements, and practice policies
Act as a key point of contact between nursing staff and management
Support training, mentoring, and development of dental nursing staff
Provide chairside support to clinicians as required
Requirements
GDC-registered Dental Nurse
Previous experience in a senior or lead dental nursing role (preferred)
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and make confident clinical decisions
Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
Eligible to work in the UK
