The role




NEBOSH is looking for a

Head of Ethical Practice

who will lead all aspects of our capabilities (people, policies and systems) to detect and deter malpractice and maintain academic integrity across NEBOSH's portfolio of qualifications and assessments. The role has overall accountability for:




Leadership and performance of the Ethical Practice team, with joint responsibility for the ethical practice investigatory and administrative functions. Delivery of timely and high-quality ethical practice investigations and casework. Leveraging a data-driven approach to identify trends and implement process efficiencies. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement to drive excellence and innovation in ethical practice. Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders impacted by Ethical Practice work, and ensuring customers who contact the team receive a quality service. Working with colleagues in the Learning Partner Quality leadership team to maintain a high-quality Learning Partner network. Delivering business plan activities and performance assurance in the area of Ethical Practice.

The Head of Ethical Practice will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity of NEBOSH qualifications; ensuring only authentic learners achieve a NEBOSH qualification


Where are you likely to be at the moment?




You're an experienced leader in investigations or compliance, likely heading up a busy team in a regulated or education-focused environment. You have a proven track record of managing complex casework, interpreting policy, and making evidence-based decisions. You've led team(s) through change, championed continuous improvement, and are confident using data to drive performance. You already have experience in academic integrity or assessment malpractice, or you can demonstrate how you can apply your investigatory expertise to deliver NEBOSH's vision and mission. You hold a level 6 qualification, such as an honours degree, or equivalent knowledge and experience. You're known for your integrity and bring a collaborative approach to working across departments.
