Head Coach - First Team

Glasgow Girls FC are seeking an ambitious and motivated Head Coach to lead our First Team, who currently compete in the SWF Championship. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a progressive club committed to developing players and coaches in a positive, high-performance environment.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the First Team, including match preparation, training delivery, player recruitment, and ongoing squad development. The role is available immediately.

Training & Match Commitments:

Training: Tuesdays and Thursdays Matches: Sundays
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality training sessions in line with the club's philosophy Lead the First Team on match days Recruit, retain, and develop players to strengthen the squad Work closely with club officials to support long-term team and club objectives Maintain high standards of professionalism, safeguarding, and player welfare
Essential Criteria:

Minimum SFA C Licence (must be willing to work towards SFA B Licence - funded by the club) Strong knowledge of the women's and girls' game Proven ability in player recruitment and squad building Excellent communication and leadership skills
Desirable Criteria:

SFA B Licence (or actively working towards it)
