Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Manage food production processes, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Oversee menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Train and mentor kitchen team members, fostering their culinary skills and career development.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served.
Experience
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary experience with a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in food safety practices and regulations is essential.
A background in hospitality is highly desirable, along with a passion for delivering outstanding service.

This is a new business venture starting from scratch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running and managing the entire kitchen operation from day one. We will conduct necessary food trials prior to opening to ensure all processes and products meet the highest quality standards. The kitchen will be set up and customised based on the Head Chef's operational requirements.
