Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our establishment, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain a tidy environment. Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products in guest rooms and public areas. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a friendly and efficient manner.

Experience

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organisation. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to housekeeping duties.
