We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our establishment. Duties

Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards. Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to achieve optimal performance and maintain quality service. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards. Develop and implement cleaning schedules that maximise efficiency while minimising disruption to guests. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery throughout the hotel. Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, inventory logs, and inspection reports.

Experience

Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality environment is essential. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in the industry. Proven ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail.
