Head of Housekeeping & Breakfast Service

The role includes the perfect delivery of breakfast to our hotel residents, including taking orders, serving food & drink and giving our guests a pleasant send off. The role also includes the commercial clean of our public, restaurant and bar areas before turning over our 12 hotel rooms to extremely high standard. The leadership element of this role extends to stock keeping, assisting with rota writing and placing orders where necessary.

MUST be able to reliably commute to Hebden Bridge for 07:30am shift start 4/5 days a week including weekends.

Duties:

- Deliver an excellent breakfast service to our guests.
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
- Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
- Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including reports on maintenance issues and lost and found items

Experience:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management preferred
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
