We are seeking a committed and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team at Astley Hall

a beautiful and historic listed home that provides a warm and friendly environment for our residents. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who leads by example and understands the importance of a well-kept, homely environment. You'll work closely with our care team to ensure our high standards of hygiene are always upheld.

Role:



First and foremost we are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in working within a caring environment; this is our resident's home. Cleanliness of the home needs to be kept to a high standard and in line with our infection control policy. Attention to detail and impeccable cleanliness standards are a must. You will be responsible for planning an effective rota and supervision of a small team, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the home You will be responsible for ordering and maintaining the stock of cleaning products to a budget. At all times you will be aware of safeguarding our vulnerable residents, be cheerful and compassionate by nature, reliable and trustworthy You will get to know the residents whilst cleaning all areas of the home. Full support and training will be given to you to allow you to carry out your day to work.

About You:



You are a friendly, approachable, proactive person, with a can-do attitude, and able to lead a small team with positivity and professionalism Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or supervisory role is desirable, ideally within a healthcare setting Excellent attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and order Organised, reliable, and able to prioritise effectively in a busy environment A cheerful and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of our residents Willingness to undertake training relevant to the role

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 14.00 per hour
