Duties

Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain exceptional cleanliness and service standards. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels while adhering to budgetary constraints. Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events and peak occupancy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a housekeeping role within the hospitality or hotel industry is essential. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff alike. Familiarity with cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols is highly advantageous.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
