Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by the chefs, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained to high standards. Support the chefs during service by helping with plating and serving as needed. Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries and storing items appropriately. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is advantageous. Basic cooking skills and understanding of food preparation techniques. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A keen interest in culinary arts and hospitality. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to various tasks as required by the kitchen team. Pay: 13.00-18.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
