Duties

Deliver comprehensive patient care, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities. Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised care plans. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal and organisational standards. Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment procedures, and post-discharge care. Assist during medical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared and sterile. Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, providing reassurance and support. Uphold infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients and staff. Prepare rotas Ensure ordering of stock etc

Requirements

Valid registration as a Dental Nurse with the GDC. Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical procedures. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate support to patients and their families. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Organised, detail-oriented, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
