The Head of Accounting will oversee financial operations within the Accounting & Finance department, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all reporting and processes. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in finance and a passion for the industrial/manufacturing sector.

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction and financial efficiency.
• Manage the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.

A successful Head of Accounting should have:

• Fluent Spanish speaking skills are essential
• Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the accounting and finance department.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
