Bishop Burton College is seeking an ambitious and passionate individual to lead the ACE Boys Rugby programme. This is a key role within our Commercial Sport Department, working closely with the RFU, Yorkshire Rugby Academy and wider sporting networks to develop young male rugby talent aged 16-18.
The successful candidate will coach and manage the programme, offering high-quality rugby training and talent development while ensuring a balance with students' academic responsibilities. You'll play a pivotal role in recruitment and talent identification on a local, regional and national level and maintain strong links with clubs, schools, and governing bodies.
You will bring at least five years of rugby coaching experience, hold an RFU Level 3 qualification, and have a proven track record of working with players aged 16-21. You'll also demonstrate a strong understanding of player development pathways and forward play, along with a clear commitment to safeguarding and maintaining the highest professional standards.
This role demands a team-oriented individual with emotional resilience, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of rugby development.
