To work in partnership with schools and other key stakeholders to ensure services within the portfolio improve the outcomes for all learners.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), work with other members of SLT and the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) to provide strategic leadership across Powys.
Support Cabinet Members to provide a strong, visible, inspirational leadership across the Portfolios.
Work with Members of the Cabinet, Committees and Full Council to provide impartial and professional advice as necessary.
To work collectively and collaboratively with SLT and CLT to ensure a whole organisational approach to the delivery of corporate plans and priorities to ensure high performance, sustainability and to protect the people and place of Powys.
To identify, build, maintain and develop effective internal and external stakeholder partnership relationships ensuring they support and enhance the delivery of both Powys and shared priorities and plans.
To lead and support the service to ensure it operates in the most efficient and effective way and with a focus on continuous improvement.
