Job Description

At Oxford Creators CIC, we believe in doing education differently. Born out of a parent's fight for fairness, our alternative provision is rooted in compassion, creativity, and community. We support young people aged 11-16 who are out of mainstream school, giving them the chance to thrive through fitness, therapy, digital skills and tailored academic tutoring.

We're looking for a Head of Provision who shares our values of empathy, optimism, and teamwork -- someone who will nurture both our students and our team, while ensuring we continue to grow with strength and stability.

You'll be pivotal in leading our small team of 11 staff and advocating for our students. We support a maximum of 30 children at a time, which ensures we provide the highest quality support to them and their families.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal Head of Provision will bring a balance of head and heart. You'll be:

Supportive & non-judgmental - with a loving, accepting approach.

Safeguarding expert - with strong DSL knowledge and experience.

A team champion - valuing staff expertise, encouraging voices to be heard, and not micro-managing. Patient & understanding - with staff, students, and families, many of whom are neurodivergent or navigating complex needs.

Operationally strong - experienced in HR, people management, and project completion.

Experienced in office processes - analyse our policies, admin and processes and look to improve them A relationship builder - connecting with parents, schools, and local authorities to ensure continuity and joined-up working. Adaptable & resilient - thriving in a fast-paced environment with compassion and positivity.

What You'll Do

Lead with transparency, trust and care.

Support and mentor students directly, showing empathy and passion.

Build strong partnerships with schools, families, and local authorities. Oversee operations, planning, HR and finance with a clear, results-focused approach. Work collaboratively with our talented, diverse team - many of whom are neurodivergent - to ensure staff feel valued and supported. Keep Oxford Creators' heart intact: we do things differently at our provision and always keep our students at the heart of everything we do.

Why Join Oxford Creators?

A positive, collaborative non-profit where your voice matters and you can thrive A passionate, caring team who believe in education that changes lives. The chance to lead a provision that's making a national impact while staying rooted in the local community. Ongoing professional development and the opportunity to shape the future of alternative provision.
If you're approachable, committed, passionate, and operationally strong, and you want to make a real difference for children who need it most, we'd love to hear from you.
