The Head of Alternative Provision in Greater Manchester will play a pivotal role in leading and managing alternative education settings aimed at supporting students who require tailored educational approaches. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative programmes that meet the diverse needs of learners while ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Duties
Lead the strategic development and implementation of alternative provision programmes to ensure they meet the needs of all students.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the alternative provision setting, ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to create personalised learning plans for students.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing interventions as necessary to support academic achievement and personal development.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider community to promote engagement and support for learners.
Provide guidance and support to teaching staff, promoting best practices in pedagogy and classroom management.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and quality standards within the educational framework.
