Due to internal promotion, we are now seeking to recruit a

Head of Asset Management

, to lead our

Asset and Site Management

teams, along with our

HV Electrical Operations

department across the UK and Ireland.


The Head of Asset Management is responsible for the successful coordination and management of activities associated with all operational renewable energy projects where the asset management team delivers services.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities



Develop and deliver strategic objectives for the asset management team, ensuring alignment with the department and business objectives, and the vision and mission. Maintain awareness of new and emerging renewable energy technologies and identify opportunities to develop new services, become established in new sectors or territories, and grow the business. Line management of regional managers, area managers, lead asset manager, lead electrical operations engineer, and safety rules manager, ensuring that adequate and competent resources are available to deliver the full range of services to meet current and projected commitments. Ensure that agreed scopes of services are delivered in accordance with the relevant contracts, in compliance with legal requirements, company policies and procedures, and implementing suitable measures to mitigate risk to the business. As a budget holder, prepare and maintain a department budget and participate in reforecasting during the budget year. With accountability for department profit and loss, monitor commercial performance through regular interaction with the finance team, and report to the Director of Service Operations and Asset Management on performance of contracts and team. Participate in the bid management process, providing technical and commercial inputs in response to invitations to tender/requests for price and supporting the development of proposals and contracts, including contributing to negotiations with clients. Maintain regular contact with the business development team to ensure ongoing awareness of the business pipeline and to advise of opportunities identified in area of responsibility, and contractual issues (positive and negative) for consideration in the development of new proposals. Participate in department meetings and distribute information and updates to team members through regular team meetings. Attend industry and client events to represent and promote the team and business, establish and maintain stakeholder relationships.
