ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a new, hybrid role combining brand content and design. We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about building an exceptional brand. At Zeff, we want branding to be at the heart and soul of our company and the force that shapes everything we do. The Zeff brand is still young (born in February), so there are countless decisions ahead to set its trajectory. We want someone who can create a brand that stands out in the industry - best in class, deeply consistent, and capable of shifting how people think about sustainability and waste. We need someone who can instinctively understand the vision, contribute ideas, and carry out decisions autonomously. Someone fastidious about detail, who actively hunts for opportunities to improve and align our brand experience across every touchpoint.
Our brand - and the guidelines that shape it - have been created with Pentagram, one of the most respected design agencies in the world. Your role is to bring that brand to life every day, visually and verbally. You'll build the systems, assets and expressions that define Zeff, and you'll help guide and protect the brand as it evolves. Above all, you'll ensure clarity, consistency and craft in everything that carries our name.
This role demands a broad, flexible skill set, and your most important skill will be to understand and bring to life the essence of a design led brand.
One minute you might be writing a news article; the next, deciding what our office should look like or designing an exhibition stand. You could be shaping a product naming strategy or creating new areas of the website. You might be crafting our Christmas card or informing our customers that our phone number has changed. If it touches the brand, it touches this role.
ABOUT ZEFF
Zeff is a small but ambitious manufacturer of recycling products, driven by sustainability, ingenuity, perfection and simplicity. In 2010, we had a simple idea: to create the world's first recycling bin made from 100% post-consumer plastic. Today, our Ubins are used by hundreds of organisations across the UK and Europe, and we keep our footprint low by producing all our products within the UK.
Our customers range from universities and hospitals to retailers and private estates, including Mulberry, RSPB, Royal Borough of Greenwich, Heritage Fund, Harrogate Spring Water, WWF and the NHS. Based in Bristol, with a widening international base and new products in development, we have bold ambitions to help put an end to the world's throw-away culture.
If you are motivated to work in a business that exists to do good, you will play an important part in Zeff's next phase of growth.
