We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of Business Architecture,

In this role, you will:

  • The role holder will be responsible for leading and supporting the alignment of business strategies with technical strategies for RB&S. The role-holder is expected to build an integrated view of the RB&S enterprise using a repeatable approach, a cohesive framework and available industry standard techniques.
  • Developing and implementing a business architecture framework that aligns with WPB\xe2\x80\x99s strategic priorities
  • Leading a team of business architects in developing and implementing business architecture solutions
  • Working closely with other senior leaders in the bank, to ensure that business architecture decisions are made in a way that supports the WPB overall business strateg
  • In collaboration with WPB Technology stakeholders, support WPB value streams in definition of capabilities that are fit for purpose and not excessively sophisticated
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • A broad understanding of the retail banking and wealth management industry, including products, competitive landscape, regulatory environment and digitalization/innovation trends
  • Extensive experience in digital transformation, including design and delivery of digital capabilities
  • Experience in agile ways of operating and working in/with value streams
  • Ability to grasp complex business and technology problems and design solutions to address these; understanding of technical design of digital capabilities across the layers of the technology stack
  • Analytical skills to derive insight from large amounts of imperfect data and information
The base location for this role is London. This role will have hybrid working arrangements with 3 days a week in the office.
