We are making some changes here at DB Cargo UK - and our new Head of Business Development position is a key appointment for our wider strategy.
We have ambitious plans for 2025 and beyond which sees our Chief Sales Officer and newly appointed Head of Commercial Development, go to market for the first time for an experienced and innovative Head of Business Development.
The aim is to drive sustainable business growth through targeted sales activity along with the creation and implementation of an effective sales and business development strategy, forging strong, sustainable and genuine partnerships with our customers.
Working with the Heads of Service Design, Industrial and Logistics Sales, you will innovate and deliver on the opportunities of new market solutions in-line with both customer need and DB Cargo UK's strategic objectives and financial goals.
Working with the working with senior leaders from across the business to embed best-practice sales methodologies such as Account Planning, Pipeline and Yield Management.
Together, develop compelling and mutually beneficial commercial proposals, negotiate advantageous contract terms and manage and effectively communicate with all principal stakeholders.
We want our new Head of Business Development to be recognised as a true customer expert and business champion for modal-shift activity.
