What you'll do...


Marketing & Brand


o Own the Fennies brand story and bring it to life across every channel - from digital campaigns to in-person experiences.



o Lead and inspire all content and creative direction across our website, social media, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed and more - ensuring every touchpoint reflects our values and feels unmistakably Fennies.



o Manage our PPC and SEO channels, driving high-quality parent and talent enquiries through data-led performance marketing.



o Build and nurture our PR strategy and media relationships to boost our visibility in the early years and education space.



o Collaborate with an external brand agency to evolve Fennies into a recognised premium early years brand, admired by both families and professionals.



o Drive national and local event presence, building community and reputation through curated experiences.



o Champion award submissions to spotlight our teams and successes and elevate our position in the sector.



o Lead on external parent communications and surveys, using insights to strengthen loyalty, experience and advocacy.


Admissions


o Take full ownership of the parent enquiry journey, leading a dedicated team who manage all inbound enquiries via our CRM



o Continuously review and optimise the admissions process - from first touch to confirmed place - ensuring it's seamless, warm, and reflective of our premium brand.



o Use our CRM metrics to identify trends, spot opportunities, and refine team performance - always asking, "how can we do this better?"



o Develop and implement new templates, processes, and communications to improve speed, clarity and experience.



o Collaborate closely with the marketing team and Nursery leadership teams on local campaigns to improve lead quality and conversion at nursery level.



o Champion the parent experience at every stage - using insight, feedback, and innovation to exceed expectations and build trust.


Talent


o Lead our in-house talent team, who manage recruitment across our nursery sites.



o Develop and drive a proactive recruitment strategy that supports the current needs and future growth



o Own and elevate our employer brand on platforms such as LinkedIn and Glassdoor.



o Ensure we attract and hire individuals who embody the Fennies DNA - individuals who thrive in our values-led, high-performance culture.





You will need...


Proven senior leadership experience across marketing, admissions, and/or recruitment - ideally in a multi-site, customer-facing business such as education, hospitality or retail.

The strategic thinking and commercial acumen to shape and drive business success across multiple channels, from brand and growth marketing to admissions performance and talent acquisition.

A passion for delivering outstanding experiences, whether for prospective parents or future team members and a drive to continuously improve.

A creative yet data-driven mindset - you know how to build a premium brand and translate vision into actionable plans

Deep marketing expertise, comfortable managing and overseeing campaign performance, and driving digital visibility.

A strong track record in developing and leading teams, with the ability to coach, support, and drive performance through others.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, collaborative, clear, and comfortable influencing at all levels.

Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing organisation.
