We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Catering/Head Chef. We are a prestigious and privately owned large complex nursing care centre based in Trentham, Stoke on Trent. We provide nursing and personal care for up to 120 residents.

We have our own large kitchen which prepares and cooks good quality home made food from scratch for our residents and also caters for any business events. The team of 2 chefs and 3 kitchen assistants will be headed up by you, therefore experience in inspirational leadership and management is an essential key requirement for this role.

The successful candidate will be a qualified head chef who has good budgetary experience along with the gravitas to lead the team effectively. A distinct advantage will be experience in cooking and preparing a mixture of food types to fit the needs of our residents which includes normal, puree and fork mash dietary requirements. Experience of working in a large kitchen environment is desirable.
