If you hold a

BA in Childhood Practice

(or are working towards it, hold a Level 3 qualification, or are willing to work towards the BA) and have

a minimum of two years' leadership experience in early years

Key Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the

day-to-day management of the nursery

, reporting directly to the Board of Directors Ensuring the

highest standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care and education

for all children Leading, supervising, and supporting staff in their daily roles Building strong and positive relationships with

parents, staff, and the wider community

Liaising with the

local authority

and other relevant professionals Coordinating trainee placements and supervising students in partnership with appropriate agencies Establishing and maintaining effective communication with external agencies Organising and leading meetings with the Board of Directors, management team, and staff Driving

quality improvement

across educational programmes and operational practices Ensuring a

safe, secure, and compliant environment

, meeting all regulatory requirements

About You

A passionate and ambitious leader with a clear commitment to delivering

exceptional childcare and early years education

Resourceful, proactive, and confident in leading and motivating a team An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively

Qualifications and Experience

BA in Childhood Practice

or willingness to work towards this qualification as required by the SSSC Experience as a

Nursery Manager, Depute Manager, or Senior Practitioner

HNC or equivalent qualification
