Ecosurety is looking for a Head of Circular Packaging to lead the development of recycling and reuse advice to our clients, helping us to deliver on our mission of ridding the world of unnecessary packaging.



This role requires strong leadership, analytical and communication skills to deliver insightful information in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with other experts in the organisation, you will help the Client Services Team to design and deliver impactful guidance to clients.



Reporting to the Innovation and Policy Director, you will inform the strategy that "goes beyond compliance" and enables clients to improve their packaging around the goods they sell.

Lead the development of practical packaging guidance, taking factors like recyclability, recycled content and reusability into account Collaborate with account managers and the business development team to deliver bespoke advice to our largest clients Develop and manage external stakeholder relationships within the industry Manage a small team of industry experts Build visibility and engagement by regularly speaking at industry events and leading collaborative impact projects Scan the horizon to understanding factors and risks affecting packaging, including policy and technical innovations Contribute towards retaining existing and growing new client relationships Help to inform and develop the company strategy

Person Specification



A genuine passion for recycling Proven experience in thought leadership relating to the packaging supply chain Bring insight through experience in several related roles over 8+ years. An understanding of UK Government environmental policies Strong stakeholder management experience, working in formal and adhoc teams. Contribute to the direction of the business through formulating the department's annual strategic plan Experience in managing a highly experienced technical team Experience presenting and speaking in public forums Ability to synthesis highly complex issues into concise summaries Strong ability to work in a standardised project management framework

Package



c. 65-75k per annum (Pay band 6) Full time, 8-hour day with flexibility 28 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays 5 x salary life insurance, 7% employer pension contribution, up to 10% bonus, employee health cash plan, paid sick leave, critical illness cover, 2 weeks workcation, options to buy additional holiday or unpaid leave, 3 days volunteer leave, happy to talk flexible working, remote working, wellbeing support, great office location, 250 home working set up payment. Hybrid working: Employees are expected to work with colleagues (primarily at the office) at least 50% of the month
