Head of Client Services
to join their senior leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic leader with proven success in client management and agency growth to play a pivotal role in shaping the client service function.
The Role
The Head of Client Services will be responsible for leading client relationships at the highest level, driving account growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex, multi-channel campaigns. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, build strong relationships at C-suite level, and guide agency teams to deliver exceptional results.
You'll also play a key role in shaping the agency's client service proposition, supporting new business development, and ensuring that teams are equipped to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client relationships at a senior level, acting as a trusted partner and advisor.
Grow and retain client accounts, delivering measurable business results.
Oversee and inspire agency teams, ensuring excellent service delivery across campaigns.
Provide leadership in shaping and refining the client services proposition.
Manage revenue targets, budgets, profitability, and contracts.
Support new business pitches and presentations, including written submissions.
Deliver multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, content, traditional media, activations, websites, and DM).
Implement and improve processes and systems to drive productivity and quality.
Report on account health and performance to the senior management team.
Essential Experience & Skills
7+ years in a senior client-facing role within an agency environment (advertising, design, or digital).
Proven success in managing complex client projects across public and private sectors.
Strong leadership and people management skills (onboarding, appraisals, KPIs, CPD planning, performance tracking).
Track record of growing client accounts and delivering ROI.
Ability to manage budgets, revenue targets, and profitability.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under tight deadlines.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Key involvement in successful new business pitches.
Deep understanding of multi-channel campaign delivery.
Desirable Experience
Knowledge of digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Understanding of web design, development tools, and CMS platforms.
Other Requirements
Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; basic knowledge of rich media assets).
Knowledge of ISO, CPD, and agency processes.
Experience with agency management systems (e.g., Concept).
Full, valid driving licence.
