Job Description

As Head of Commissioning and Project Delivery you will have a fantastic opportunity to act as the strategic lead for Liverpool\'s Transport & Highways Capital Programme, ensuring delivery and providing service excellence, cost effectiveness, and managing and developing the Major Highways Infrastructure division as a whole.

A significant strategic role within the council you will provide leadership to the Commissioning & Project Delivery Division ensuring that Liverpool City Council meets its aims, core values and business objectives set out in our Inclusive Growth Plan.

With a relevant engineering background, you will bring significant experience of the development and implementation of Innovation, Net Zero & Civils Works schemes and complex projects/programmes gained within a place making or regeneration setting. An exceptional and inspirational leader , with extensive experience at a senior level in a complex and demanding Transportation and Highways or built environment setting with experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional services
