Job Description

Teaching Tomorrow is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Computer Science for a secondary school in Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the department, shape the curriculum, and inspire students to achieve excellence in computing and digital technologies.
The Role:
As Head of Computer Science, you will:

Lead and manage the Computer Science department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
Develop and implement schemes of work and curriculum planning.
Support, mentor, and appraise teaching staff within the department.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring excellent outcomes across all year groups.
Foster a culture of innovation, engagement, and digital literacy.

We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
Proven leadership experience within a school or department.
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to raising standards.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Willingness to travel from Northamptonshire if required (own transport essential).
