We have a big ambition - to drive growth for all our clients and partners, while taking the friction out of the end-to-end travel experience to the benefit of all - and to do this we are looking for a Global Head of Corporate Communications to play a pivotal role in positioning the company in an ever-evolving environment. This is a unique opportunity to evolve our Corporate Communications strategy to drive further business growth on a global scale. As a highly skilled, motivated and creative professional, the Head of Corporate Communications will work closely with the Executive Committee and across the business to turn business strategy into a meaningful, robust and long-term external communications and social media strategy.

Reporting directly to the Global Marketing Director, you will be a senior member of our global Marketing, Communications & Digital Presence team, with responsibility for driving a proactive approach to external communications to support business growth and generate opportunities to influence and advocate, by effectively positioning the company as an industry leader and key, responsible partner.

Responsibilities:


  • Refine and implement the corporate communication strategy, key corporate messages & positioning for each of our business areas and for our client, partner and investor segments.

  • Support in the implementation of the Public Relations strategy globally, providing daily guidance and PR support to all PR managers and PR agencies (when needed) worldwide.

  • Build relationships with key media contacts and influencers and identify opportunities to proactively pitch brand and corporate stories through social media outlets as appropriate.

  • Guide the execution of positioning strategies that build awareness and a strong reputation for our portfolio of brands globally and aligned with our business strategy, driving increased external visibility and advocacy for the business.

  • Create an effective speaker programme to position senior leaders as thought leaders and drive brand awareness at conferences and events across the globe.

  • Build a media relations programme, focused on key markets to enhance our reputation as an industry-leading TravelTech B2B ecosystem, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media.

  • Liaise with our PR agencies to develop and execute high impact public relations plans and image driven influencer marketing for product launches and new market entries

  • Supervision of all PR and communication teams to follow brand guidelines and achieve one voice globally

  • Refine the crisis communications strategy and advise and support to the company as and when significant issues arise.

  • Working hand-in-hand with our Content Team to create tone of voice standards that help differentiate our brands and make them resonate with our various audiences.


Qualifications and experience required:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. MBA Preferred.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in global corporate communications and/or marketing, ideally in a B2B tech environment.

  • A strong track record of delivering impactful, effective PR, media and social media communications.

  • Extensive media relations experience, with clear evidence of building successful, collaborative relationships.

  • Experience of building and implementing effective social media strategies aimed at building and boosting profiles externally.

  • Demonstrable evidence of managing multiple projects successfully, particularly in a fast-moving environment.

  • Demonstrable evidence of building trust and confidence with senior leaders, stakeholders and influencers.

  • Effective stakeholder management abilities and ability to understand what each audience needs and wants for effective communication.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with the experience and ability to handle highly complex conversations and projects on a senior level.

  • Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques

  • Tangible evidence of managing communications in a crisis / emergency situation.

  • Native or fluent English essential, other languages useful.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with colleagues and external contacts.
