Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and technically astute Head of Cyber Security Operations to lead our global cyber operations and engineering functions.

About the Role



This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and delivering our cyber security strategy, ensuring robust threat and risk management, and driving continuous improvement across our security landscape.


We offer a hybrid work structure where we work from the office or remotely based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged for tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.

Key Responsibilities




Lead and manage cyber operations and engineering teams.


Develop and execute the cyber security strategy, aligning with business objectives.


Oversee threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management.


Maintain and enhance cyber security risk registers and mitigation plans.


Deliver dashboards and metrics to senior stakeholders across the business.


Act as the SME for security assessments and external security representation.


Ensure compliance with certifications including Cyber Essentials Plus, HSE OG86, and TISAX.


Lead major incident investigations and third-line assurance activities.


Collaborate across IT and business functions to embed security governance.

What We're Looking For




Proven experience in cyber security within a global organisation.


Deep expertise in threat intelligence, monitoring, incident response, and engineering.


Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and emerging security threats.


Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.


Demonstrated leadership of globally distributed teams.


Desirable Qualifications




CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, CCSP, CCNA Security


Azure Certifications (MS-500 / AZ-500)


SANS 515 and other relevant SANS certifications
