Make Your Mark as a Head of Demand Planning at Storio group

About the role


This is a

critical leadership role

for Storio Group. You will create, manage, and run the demand forecasting process. This work ensures high accuracy and reliability for our new Sales and Operations Planning (

S&OP

) cycle. You will be the

Subject Matter Expert

for demand planning. Your accurate data will drive better decisions across commercial, marketing, finance, and operations teams. You will significantly improve forecast accuracy and help the business gain a better grip on performance.

How you embrace curiosity daily



You manage the

demand planning process

, using advanced analytical models. You work with teams to find and use market intelligence, sales trends, and marketing plans in the forecasts. You constantly challenge and check forecast assumptions with commercial and marketing partners for realism. You drive a

culture of continuous improvement

, making sure our Demand Plan is based on reality. You manage the delivery of our cross-functional

Last Order Dates (LOD)

process and events. You connect LOD insights and outcomes directly back to your demand plans for full visibility and execution.

How you make your mark



You will serve as the expert to independently create and execute a reliable demand forecasting process. You will significantly improve demand forecast accuracy for the entire business. You will embed a culture of

accountability

and continuous improvement across stakeholder teams. You will provide analytical guidance for LOD events, balancing sales targets with customer experience. You will develop an S&OP professional with high potential, acting as a coach and mentor. You will be a key support and second subject matter expert on Sales and Operations Planning.

What you bring to the team



Extensive

progressive experience in planning, with a strong focus on

demand planning

. Proven success in managing and maturing a demand planning process that led to measurable business impact. Experience in

people management

, specifically coaching and developing high potential team members. Experience in at least one other part of planning (e.g., Supply Chain, Promotional planning, Supply Planning). Ability to

influence and collaborate

effectively with senior stakeholders across all functions. Strong

analytical acumen

to solve complex problems and make sound decisions using complex data.

What sets you apart



A degree or equivalent calibre in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field. Experience or deep understanding of the full

S&OP principles

and their commercial implications. A strong history of driving complex process optimisation with a continuous improvement mindset.
