Investing in digital capability helps us adapt to the rapidly changing nature of crime and continuously improve our services. Our Digital Information Directorate (DID) is expanding to support this work, by developing a new capability and function for strategic workforce planning.

About the role



As head of digital strategic workforce planning, you lead the development of expert workforce strategies to ensure we have the appropriate people, capacity and skills to deliver our services now and in the future. You support DID to meet objectives, maintain data integrity and inform decision making across the organisation. You have direct line management responsibilities, and the rewarding opportunity to develop a skills matrix to support career progression within the directorate.

About you



We're looking for someone with strong strategic workforce planning skills. You must have experience of designing resourcing plans and understand risks, issues, mitigation and trends within resource and workforce planning. Strong drafting and analytical skills, and understanding of a range of data management principles are essential.
